The Royal Bank of Scotland Classic card is available subject to approval, only to persons with an income of at least £10,000 p.a., and aged 18 or over. The application process takes place within a secure Web site. All information submitted is protected by strong security techniques including 128-bit encryption so that it cannot be read by others.

The information you provide will be subject to a credit search with a credit-scoring bureau. Each time a credit search is conducted it is recorded against your details held at the credit-scoring bureau.

To complete an application you should have the following: Income details, Bank or Building Society details, Employer's name, address and telephone number, Details of a previous address if you've lived at your current address for less than two years, and Details of other credit or store cards (should you wish to transfer a balance to RBS).
