If your business needs to make confidential communications, investigate our Secure Messaging solution. It is a fast and easy-to-use internet-based service that will allow you to send and receive secure electronic messages and information to and from The Royal Bank of Scotland.

Key benefits

  • Greater security - Secure Messaging is more secure than fax or mail. Our data encryption technology means that no one can read the messages that you send and receive via Secure Messaging. What's more, your Secure Messaging e-mail account can only be accessed by you when you enter your user ID, PIN and password.
  • Speed of service - a paperless, electronic solution, Secure Messaging is far faster than the postal service. You can send confidential messages and information direct to your relationship manager, Corporate Service Team, or indeed anyone else in the bank.
  • Convenient - with our e-forms, you can complete a range of everyday banking activities, such as ordering a cheque book, travel money or a copy statement.
  • Easy to use - there's no need for special software and you needn't even be in your own office. All you need is e-mail and Internet access, which we will use to alert you to new messages on your secure channel.
  • Free - Secure Messaging is a free service for The Royal Bank of Scotland corporate customers. So you won't pay any set-up charges or fees, although some additional services may be chargeable at our standard product rates.

Please note that Secure Messaging cannot be used to send value and/or time critical instructions such as payments. Also attached files can be no bigger than 2MB (in total)

How to apply for Secure Messaging
